Momentum in the Mountains: Power Design, Inc. Stimulates Job Growth in Colorado Construction Market

  St. Peterburg, Fla. - June 3, 2013 - Less than one year after expanding operations into Colorado, Power Design, Inc. continues to hire locally and manage multiple projects with projected continued growth.

Since awarded the Alameda Station project in 2012, four more projects - which include one data center and a total of 1,214 apartment units - are underway for Power Design, Inc. in the Denver metro area. By partnering with national developers like Wood Partners and CoreSite, Power Design maintains its long-standing relation shops in this new market.

“We are excited not only about our rapid growth and continued relationships in Colorado, but also the opportunity to hire local talent,” said Tyson Conrad, staffing manager. “To date we have hired several local employees and anticipate hiring more in coming months.”

With Denver as one of the fastest growing markets, it is expected that developers will complete more than 4,200 units by the end of 2013, the majority located in the Broomfield/Interlocken areas. Nearly 35,000 jobs are expected to be added in the metro area by the end of 2013, marking year-over-year growth of 2.8 percent. (Source: Marcus & Millichap).
