August Finds St Pete Sunrise Rotary Active-- Meeting August 18, 7:30AM -- At St Pete Yacht Club

St. Petersburg Sunrise Rotary will not be meeting Tuesday, August 11, as the summer meeting schedule prevails, but that doesn’t mean that the Club doesn’t have plans for August.

Rotarians had a great time cooking breakfast again for the guests at Ronald McDonald House last week. The residents appreciated a hot, home-cooked meal for a change!

On Thursday, 8/27, the Club will gather for a social at the St. Pete Distillery (800 31st St S) in the "31 South Speakeasy"... and since it's a speakeasy, “gotta” have a daily changing password to enter... sounds like fun!!!

Get ready for work! Join us on Saturday, August 23 to help clean our mile of the Pinellas Trail. We will meet at our usual spot (corner of Fairfield Ave S and 46th St S) at 8:30 am. Maybe the workers will go out for a snack when cleanup is complete!

At our meeting next week (8/18), we will hear from Keep Pinellas Beautiful, the organization that sponsors our participation in this important cleanup effort.

On Saturday, September 26, St. Petersburg Sunrise Rotary will once again participate in a Build and Deliver Day, with Building Beds! Mark your calendar for this exciting opportunity to help ensure children in Pinellas County have a quality bed to sleep on.
