The Underground Book Fair will take place Saturday, May 30, noon to 4 p.m., at the Jack Kerouac House of St. Petersburg, 5169 10th Ave. N.

Vendors will be set up throughout the home, including pop-up shops in each bedroom. (Find a full list of vendors below.)
The Beat Generation author moved to St. Petersburg in 1964. He rented, at first, before purchasing the Disston Heights home - his last, ever - in 1967.&nbsp;
Kerouac lived at 5169 10th Ave. N. with his wife Stella and his mother Gabrielle in the house at 5169 10th Ave N from 1967 until his death on October 21, 1969.&nbsp;
Today, <a href="https://stpetekerouachouse.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">the Jack Kerouac House of St. Petersburg Inc.</a> is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Kerouac’s final home and the promotion of St. Petersburg-area arts, artists, and culture.&nbsp;
The Underground Book Fair is a collaboration between literary arts initiative <a href="https://www.facebook.com/WordierThanThou/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Wordier Than Thou</a> and the Jack Kerouac House.&nbsp;
Those attending the book fair are encouraged to explore every room of the home, which includes some original details from when the author lived there, as well as some furniture, art, and items that belonged to him.
There is a $5 suggested donation for the Kerouac House collected at the door on the day of the event.&nbsp;
