Boaters See Dead Body Floating In The Water In St. Petersburg
Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a woman whose body was found floating in the water in Cross Bayou.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Boaters saw the dead body of a woman that floated 200 yards from Lighthouse Point Marina in St. Petersburg on Sunday and called police, a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office news release said.
At about 2:30 p.m., investigators began the death investigation, and have not been able to identify the victim yet.
Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has not released additional information.
