Body Found Behind Museum In St. Pete: Police

St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating the death of an elderly man after his body was discovered in the water near a seawall.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL —An elderly man's body was pulled from the water near the seawall behind the Museum of History located in the 300 block of Second Avenue Northeast around 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, St. Pete police said.

Authorities are investigating the man's cause of death, officials said.

No other information has been released by the St. Petersburg Police Department.
