Some Events Canceled, Some Still On This Weekend
During one of the busiest fall weekends in Tampa Bay, Tropical Storm Nestor has prompted organizers to cancel events.

TAMPA BAY, FL — During one of the busiest fall weekends in Tampa Bay, Tropical Storm Nestor has prompted some organizers to cancel events. So far, the following events have been canceled:
Fergtoberfest II
Ferg's Sports Bar and Entertainment Complex, 1320 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg, has canceled Fergtoberfest featuring Warrant Friday at 7 p.m.
Clearwater Jazz Holiday
Due to the impending rain and wind event and out of concern for the safety of attendees, Friday night's performances at Clearwater Jazz Holiday are canceled.

Those planning to attend on Saturday, Oct. 19, and Sunday, Oct. 20 should visit the website or visit social media sites for weather-related updates. Cancellations are not anticipated on Saturday or Sunday but there may be delays in opening.
Concerts canceled Friday night include Gloria West and The Gents from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m.; Marcia Ball from 5:45 to 7 p.m.; Robert Randolph & The Family Band from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue from 9:30 to 11 p.m.

The festival kicked off Thursday, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 20 at Coachman Park, 301 Drew St. on the waterfront in downtown Clearwater.
In addition to live music all weekend, the festival will feature food and drink vendors and a fireworks display Saturday at 10:45 p.m.
Italian Food & Wine Festival
The first Italian Food & Wine Festival set for Friday, Oct. 18 from 6 to 11 p.m. at Albert Whitted Park, 480 Bayshore Drive S.E., has been canceled. It's been rescheduled for Friday, Nov. 22.
Howl-O-Ween
The Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation Department will go head with Howl-O-Ween but the '80s Rock in the Park concert featuring '80s cover band Scream Machine on Saturday has been canceled.
Howl-O-Ween will take place Saturday, Oct. 19 from 3 to 10 p.m. at Carrollwood Village Park, 4680 W. Village Drive.
The festival will kick off with dog-friendly events including dog and human costume contests with categories for best child and pet, best couple, most creative and spookiest.
There will also be a doggie parade, doggie jail, caricature artist, popcorn doggie bags, face paintings, food trucks and giveaways.

East Lake Fire Rescue has canceled its sixth annual 5K Run/Walk for Charity scheduled for Saturday.
MarineQuest
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Fish and Wildlife Research Institute, 100 8th Ave. S.E. in St. Petersburg, MarineQuest on Saturday, Oct. 19, has been canceled.
Palm Harbor Movie Night
Palm Harbor Movie Night scheduled Friday night at Sunderman Recreation Complex has been canceled.
Hallowfest
Hallowfest planned for Saturday in Indian Rocks Beach has been canceled.
Green Bench Anniversary Party
Green Bench Brewing Co.'s sixth anniversary party set for Saturday in St. Petersburg has been canceled.
Making Strides Walk
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk scheduled Saturday at Raymond James Stadium has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 3.
Osgood Point Trail Grand Opening
The Osgood Point Trail Connector grand opening ceremonies has been rescheduled to Saturday, Oct. 26 at 9 a.m.
Events Still Happening
High School Friday Night Football
Individual schools are deciding whether Friday night match-ups will go on as scheduled.
So far, Florida Scoreboard has announced no cancellations but fans should check the website before heading out to their team's game tonight.
LOCASH Concert
The free concert featuring the country duo LOCASH scheduled after the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Colorado Avalanche game Saturday, Oct. 19, has been moved from the Ford Thunder Alley outside the Amalie Arena to inside.
Fans can pick up a free wristband for access to the concert at the ticket office starting at 9 a.m. Saturday morning, and can start lining up for concert at the start of the third period.
The concert is being hosted by PepsiCo Beverages North America to celebrate its new Tampa Bay Lightning and Amalie Arena partnership. The post-game event will include interactive games, ice-cold Pepsi Zero Sugar and special guests.
Terror Tent
The Terror Tent ride will take place at the Pinellas Art Village at 5681 Park Blvd. N., Pinellas Park, is planning to be open Friday night from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. if the rain holds off.
Terror Tent is scheduled for Oct. 18, 19, 25 and 26.
The three-minute motorized ride-through attraction features 1,500 square of spooky and fantasy murals, sculptures and paintings as it travels to Cove Studios, Pompei Monster Factory, the Complete Sweet Shoppe, Swartz Gallery and the Pinellas Park Art Society Gallery.
The ride runs in conjunction with the Boo-Zaar, featuring supernatural images of pop culture symbols by local artists along with belly-dancing witches and a costume contest.

Taste Of Latino Festival
The Taste of Latino Music, Food & Wine Festival will take place Sunday, Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Centennial Park, 1800 E. 8th Ave., Ybor City.
Bask in the scents, sounds and flavors of Latin American foods, wine, art and music. Enjoy Latin beer, wine and food from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Peru, Venezuela and other Latin countries.
Plus, visit the Cuban Sandwich Festival Winners Circle and check out the sandwich champions.
Tickets are $50 for adults and $20 for children. VIP tickets are $75.
4th Annual St. Pete Brewfest
The fourth annual St Pete Brewfest benefiting Nourish to Flourish (feeding hungry children in Pinellas County) is still scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19 starting at 5 p.m. at Kozuba & Sons, 1960 5th Ave. S., St. Petersburg. Organizers have renting a large tent in case of rain.
The event will include live music by the Chris Walker Band and Jeremy Thomas Band, an open bar, food trucks and games.
Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at the door and $10 for designated drivers.
Dunedin Stone Crab Festival
The Dunedin Stone Crab Festival is still scheduled to open Friday, Oct. 18 from 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 19 from noon to 10 p.m. at Edgewater Park, 51 Main St., Dunedin.
The two-day festival will feature cuisine and beverages from 20 restaurants and food trucks along with entertainment and arts and crafts vendors. In addition to stone crab dishes, there will be fish tacos, blue crabs, Maine lobster and shrimp.

Macaroni & Cheese Fall Festival
Tampa Bay's annual Macaroni & Cheese Fall Festival is still taking place Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Sunwest Park, 17362 Old Dixie Highway, Hudson.
The event will feature gourmet food trucks competing for the title of best Mac n' Cheese, live music, inflatables and other activities.
Shabby Chic Vintage Market
The Fall Wesley Chapel Shabby Chic Vintage Market & Artisan Days will take place as scheduled Sunday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Grove at Wesley Chapel, 6105 Wesley Grove Blvd., Wesley Chapel.
Guests can shop from 120 local vendors and artisans featuring unique finds and home furnishings including vintage, rustic, collectible and shabby chic. Admission and parking are free. Dogs are welcome.
Trunk Or Treat Halloween Bash
Tarpon Springs Recreation Division will still host its free Trunk or Treat Halloween Bash Saturday, Oct. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Tarpon Springs Community Center, 400 S. Walton Ave., Tarpon Springs.
Trunk or Treat will be held in the parking lot and children can visit multiple decorated car trunks to get candy. The Halloween Bash will be in the gymnasium. There will be inflatables, costume contests, music and more. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Howl-O-Ween
