Chelsea Clinton Coming To St. Pete, Sarasota
The former first daughter is making campaign stops one day after her mother's Tampa rally.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Supporters of Hillary Clinton’s bid for the Democrat nomination who can’t make it to the former Secretary of State’s Tampa rally Thursday might be able to catch her daughter in action Friday.
The Clinton campaign has announced that Chelsea Clinton will be making campaign stops in the Tampa Bay area to speak with volunteers, supporters and community members. She has two such stops on her agenda, Friday, March 11.
Chelsea Clinton’s first local stop is set to take place at noon at The Francis, 1289 N. Palm Ave., in Sarasota. There she is attending a “get out the vote” event, the campaign announced.

Following the Sarasota appearance, the former first daughter will head to St. Petersburg’s Swah Rey, 2105 Central Ave., for another get out the vote event at 2:15 p.m.

Chelsea Clinton’s two-day campaign sweep through Florida also includes a stop in Jacksonville on Thursday and two in Tallahassee on Friday morning. After her Sarasota and St. Petersburg stops, she’ll head to Lake Buena Vista for an afternoon appearance at the NEA Education Support Professionals Conference.
Meanwhile, the elder Clinton has a “Get Out the Vote” rally planned at The Ritz Ybor, 1503 E. 7th Ave., in Tampa on Thursday morning. Doors for that event open at 9:45 a.m.
The Florida Presidential Preference Primary is set for Tuesday, March 15. Hillary Clinton leads the latest polls against Democrat challenger Sen. Bernie Sanders. Donald Trump remains ahead on the Republican side.
