Cops: Armed Burglar Had 5-Month-Old in Tow
The man is accused of trying to break into a St. Petersburg home and then threatening the homeowner with a knife.

A 22-year-old St. Petersburg man faces a host of charges after police say he committed a few felonies while carrying his 5-month-old son in a car seat.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, the incident unfolded around 5:45 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of 9th Avenue North. A man arrived at his home in time to see another man standing near his back door, holding a baby seat, an email from the police department stated.
When the homeowner approached, the baby-toting man hollered out to another man who was trying to break in through the back door. That man ran down an alley while the father, still carrying his son, walked away.
