Crunch Fitness To Host Grand Opening In St. Pete’s Tyrone Area
A new 25,000-square-foot Crunch Fitness center will celebrate its grand opening Saturday in Tyrone Gardens Shopping Center.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Crunch Fitness is celebrating the grand opening of a new 25,000-square-foot fitness center in St. Petersburg on Saturday.
The gym, a $5 million project, is located in a newly renovated space in the Tyrone Gardens Shopping Center at 900 58th Street N., according to a news release from the company.
The grand opening party takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon. The event will offer group fitness demos, physical therapy specials and Crunch Perk partners.

Those interested in joining Crunch can pay $1 to sign up through July 17 and get their first month free. Memberships start at $9.99 a month
Crunch Tyrone offers cardio- and strength-training equipment, a group fitness studio, HIITZone, a cycling studio, training hub, dry saunas, HydroMassage tanning beds, spacious lock rooms and more.

The new Crunch is owned by franchisee CR Fitness Holdings LLC, which is operated by Vince Julien, Geoff Dyer, Tony Scrimale and Jeff Dotson. Combined they have more than 100 years of experience in the fitness industry.
The CR Fitness team currently operates 48 locations in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. Crunch Tyrone will be the fourth location to open in Pinellas County.
