Downtown Shooting Suspect Identified, Sought: St. Petersburg Police
Deronke Barron, 20, fired shots into a crowd during a downtown St. Petersburg brawl earlier this month, police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The suspect who fired a gun into a crowd of people during a downtown St. Petersburg brawl earlier this month has been identified, authorities said.
Deronke Barron, 20, and a group of men got into a fight on the sidewalk of Third Street N. near Central Avenue on Oct. 7 around 12:45 a.m., St. Petersburg police wrote in a Facebook post.
Barron fired shots into the group and three men suffered non-threatening injuries to their legs. Two men and two women suffered other minor injuries, as well.

Anyone with information about Barron may make an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County by calling 800-873-TIPS or online at www.crimestoppersofpinellas.org. Tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to his arrest.
