The Community Service Foundation will host its monthly First Time Homebuyers seminar at the Sunshine Center in downtown St. Petersburg. Potential homeowners are welcome to take the course to learn more about living on a budget, saving for a new home, and making responsible financial decisions. In addition, the seminars provide information on programs that assist with down payments and closing costs, mortgage services and avoiding foreclosure.
The First Time Homebuyers seminar is split into two parts, held the first and second Tuesday of each month. Participants must complete both classes to be eligible for CSF's Purchase-Rehab-Resale homeownership program for first-time buyers and low-income families.
