The Studio@620 presents a free roundtable discussion about community gardens and their impact on our society and quality of life. Panelists include Eckerd College professor Kent Alexander "Kip" Curtis, who has spent three years developing a schoolyard organic garden education project at Lakewood Elementary School in St. Petersburg; Andrea Hillebran Smith of Green Florida; author Janisse Ray (Ecology of a Cracker Childhood); and moderator Thomas Hallock of USF St. Petersburg.
There will be plenty of time for audience questions. Although this event is free, please reserve your spot in advance.
