St. Petersburg, the “City of Museums,” is about to add one more well-known venue for museum lovers. July 1, Penny Lane, the ultimate Beatles Museum, is set to move from its current Clearwater location to downtown St Petersburg, 146 2nd St N.

“We are proud to have successfully created a meaningful attraction in Tampa Bay and are excited to expand to preserve The Beatles’ legacy properly. We plan to move to an epic location in St. Petersburg in June of 2026.

Billed as the only dedicated Beatles Museum in the US, it is led by executive director Craig Bachner. He and Harlan Brown, senior docent at the St Petersburg, noted that the location change is expected to bring more tourist traffic. According to Bachner, the new location will be twice the size of the museum's former home in Clearwater.
