Birding at Saddle Creek Park

Join the Tampa Audubon Society for Birding at Saddle Creek Park in Lakeland on Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The park has a list of 193 species of birds with shady pathways. The walk is mostly even along a 2.5-mile dirt path. The society will be birding along the edge of hardwood swamps and ponds, and a portion of the trail goes through a “tunnel” of Brazilian pepper.

Bay Fest!

Dive into an extraordinary experience at Bay Fest, hosted by the Sarasota Sailing Squadron Saturday, 10 a.m., at 1717 Ken Thompson Parkway, and celebrate the wonders of our underwater worlds! This free family event features exhibits about local marine life, talk to experts about underwater habitats and conservation efforts, kayak tours, food trucks, and live music.

Arts Alive! Free Museum Day

The Arts! Alive Free Museum Day on Saturday, offering Pinellas County residents free entry to four St. Petersburg museums: the Imagine Museum, the Salvador Dali Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts and the James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art.

Farm Aid Tampa Bay

Sweetwater Organic Community Farm in Tampa hosts a day of music, vendors, kids activities and more on Saturday, noon to 7 p.m. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit farm.

Sarasota Opera Food & Wine Festival

The Sarasota Opera Food & Wine Festival returns Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m., with food offerings from restaurants, and specialty food, wine, and coffee shops throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties.

National Drive Electric Week Kickoff

Check out a variety of electric vehicles and ask questions of their owners and representatives Saturday, 2 p.m., at Sunshine Skyway Plaza, 1079 62nd Ave. S., St. Petersburg. Come with your license in case test drives are available.

Dessert Wars

The largest dessert festival in America comes to the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa on Saturday, 3 to 7 p.m.

West St. Pete Community Picnic

The first annual West St. Petersburg Community Picnic will take place Saturday, 5 to 8 p.m., at Azalea Park. The event will feature a DJ, a balloon artist, yard games, a bike rodeo hosted by the St. Petersburg Police Department, demonstrations by the SPD’s motorcycle/SWAT/K-9 teams, Birds of Prey, local nonprofit organizations showcasing their services and more.

ZooTampa’s Uncorked Tampa Wine Fest

The third annual Uncorked: Tampa Wine Fest to benefit ZooTampa will take place Saturday, 8 p.m. Enjoy over 150 wines and bubblies from across the globe while you sip and savor your way around some of the favorite enclosures at the zoo after hours.

Miss Honu Pin-Up Pageant

The Honu in Dunedin hosts this pin-up pageant Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m. There will be live music, delicious tiki drinks and vintage cars in addition to the pin-up contest.
