Get Free Mother's Day Breakfast For Mom At McDonald's

A total of 202 McDonald's locations across the Tampa Bay area are offering moms a free deal.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Tampa Bay area moms who aren’t so sure about letting their kids whip up Mother’s Day breakfast can head to a local McDonald’s for a meal on the house.

A total of 202 Tampa Bay area McDonald’s locations, spanning multiple counties, have announced their intentions to give moms free meals on Sunday, May 8. The offer has been a tradition at the local restaurants for years.

Moms who stop at a participating location between 5:30 and 11 a.m. on Sunday will receive a free breakfast sandwich or entrée. They’ll also have a choice of a small orange juice, coffee or soft drink.

"We are delighted to continue the tradition of offering a complimentary breakfast to moms across Tampa Bay on Mother's Day, to show our appreciation for everything mothers do,” Lanie Salebra, a mother and local owner, said in a statement. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to feel like they are getting to treat their moms to breakfast as well, and it turns into a great time for them to slow down and spend time enjoying a balanced meal together as a family.”

Last year, more than 13,000 Tampa Bay area moms received free meals from McDonald’s on Mother’s Day. No purchase is necessary to cash in on the deal, but moms must be accompanied by at least one child. The offer is only good in the lobby.
