ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- A Gibbs High School student has been arrested after being accused of making a threatening comment in class Wednesday.

According to St. Petersburg Police, the 18-year-old student's comments were reported to resource officers at the school at 850 34th St. S. Police went to the student's home and, after further investigation, arrested and charged him with making a false report of a bomb or firearm to cause bodily harm, a felony.
