Gulfport Motorcyclist In Critical Condition Following I-275 Crash

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a crash Thursday on northbound Interstate 275.

At 9:35 a.m., a Chevrolet Malibu driven by Diane A. Caraker, 58, of Leverett, Massachusetts, a Nissan Rogue driven by Holly Marie Neuhengen, 35, of Bradenton and a 56-year-old motorcyclist from Gulfport were traveling north on I-275 when traffic ahead slowed down.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the Malibu collided with the rear of the motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to collide with the Rogue in front of it.

The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was taken to Bayfront Health in critical condition. No one else was injured.
