ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A St. Petersburg Home Depot store was evacuated on Monday after there were reports of a suspicious package, law enforcement officials said.

The St. Petersburg Police Department was notified just after 11 a.m. of the package at the 22nd Avenue North store.

The Tampa Police Department's bomb squad and investigators responded.

The evacuation caused traffic tie-ups on 22nd Avenue North as customers tried to leave the parking lot, police say.

Detectives say no credible threat was found, and the store is open again.
