Hunky Tampa Bay Bachelors Vie For Hand Of ABC's 'Bachelorette'

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- If you’re a fan of the television show, “The Bachelorette,” the 14th season just got a lot closer to home.

Following the premiere of Season 14 May 28, Tampa Bay fans are eager to tune in to tonight’s show, June 4, to get another look at two suitors who hail from Tampa Bay.

Last week, bachelorette Becca Kufrin of Michigan returned for a second chance to find love after breaking up with her chosen bachelor, Arie Luyendy Jr., at the end of Season 13.

This season, a new field of 28 suitors will vie for Kufrin’s affections, including St. Petersburg personal fitness coach Connor Obrochta and male model Jordan Kimball of Crystal River.

By all accounts, both men scored high on the hunk and charm meter when they were introduced to Kufrin last week.

Now the real courting begins.

Obrochta, 25, attended St. Petersburg Catholic High School and went on to the University of Tampa where he played college baseball as a member of the Spartans that won the Division II national championship in 2013.

He graduated from UT in 2014 with a degree in public health and then spent a season in the minor leagues for the Atlanta Braves organization, where he batted .214 in 64 at bats.

Afterward, he returned to St. Pete to open his own personal fitness business.

Kimball, 26, majored in business and accounting at the University of Central Florida before talent scouts convinced him he should be in front of a camera, not behind a desk. Represented by the prestigious modeling agency Wilhelmina of Miami, he has an extensive portfolio of national magazine ads.

Like Obrochta, keeping fit is a priority for Kimball. He’s a runner and, whenever time permits, he enjoys jumping into a kayaking and exploring his hometown’s namesake, the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge.
