Kids And Kubs Challenge Transplant Team in Annual Game

Saturday, 19. The game's purpose is to increase public awareness about organ donation and transplanting organs at the hospital.

Florida General Hospital's Transplant Team will visit North Shore Park, 901 North Shore Blvd, St Petersburg, Saturday, 19. The game's purpose is to increase public awareness about organ donation and transplanting organs at the hospital.

A featured event of the day will be the annual softball game with the Transplant Team challenging the Kids and Kubs. The game is scheduled to begin at 10:00AM

This year's game will mark a resumption of the annual contest post-COVID. The event was initiated by Kids and Kubs' player Cleo Stinyard, who challenged the Transplant Team to a softball game after living through a kidney transplant seven years ago. Florida General is Florida's busiest transplant center in Florida performing an estimated 20,000 transplants over the past years.
