Kids and Kubs ......Open 90th season Thursday, October 31

Player positions are open for the 2019-20 season. If interested in playing, male or female, who will be 75 this year call 727-893-7108.

Kids and Kubs Club President Jon Wilkinson and his Board proudly proclaim the title of the most senior of the Senior Softball organizations in the nation – maybe the world. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday – senior softball happens in St Pete.

When the Kids and Kubs open the 2019-20 season at 10 AM Thursday, Oct 31, 2019. It will mark the Club’s 90th year of providing “healthy exercise for men and women over 74 years of age,” and has been in business for 90 years. The Club has made many adjustments over the years to make the game of softball fun, competitive, safe, and age-appropriate for senior citizens over the age of 74.

While the Club officially opens its intraclub competitive schedule on October 31 , A ribbon-cutting ceremony, to celebrate the Club’s 90th season is set for Tuesday, November 5, at 9:30 AM.

The Ribbon Cutting is sponsored by the St Petersburg Chamber of Commerce to celebrate milestones for its members. The Chamber is an organization of 1,134 businesses throughout St. Petersburg. The Club works in partnership to promote St. Petersburg, the Chamber, and the Kids and Kubs.

Or visit us at North Shore Park, 901 North Shore Blvd. Summer ball is played Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 AM throughout the summer.
