Kids and Kubs select All-Star Team For Game With City Hall Stars

Since 1981 it has been tradition the Mayor leads his city administration in a charity driven softball game against the iconic Kids and Kubs.

Don “Cubbie” Kutchinski will captain the 2024 Kids and Kubs All-Stars when they take the field against the City Hall Stars led by Mayor Ken Welch. The annual game is Saturday, February 10th. 2024, 11:30 AM at North Shore Park. In St. Petersburg, FL.

The event will feature an earlier game at 9:00 AM with the TASCO Teen Club of St Petersburg. The day will include the presentation of donations to ten local charities in ceremonies between the two games. Admission is free. Those attending will bring Food Bank contributions to the St Petersburg Free Clinic. A food truck will be available during the day with an assortment of “Ball Park Goodies.”
The membership selected the following players to represent the Three-Quarter Century Softball Club as “All Stars”: Don” Cubbie” Kutchinski,
Dennis Kuvalanka, Larry McCurdy, Walt Ewald, Mike Vander Syde, Frank Sirois, Ray Smith, Doug Righter, Bob Kane, Ivan Millette,Gordon Norton, Kaz Gora. All Stars will wear a black bow tie, white game shirt, and long white pants. The bow tie may be removed for play during the games
