Kids and Kubs suspend summer ball sessions until September 2, 2026.
Practice sessions heat up, and humidity rises into the 90's by 10:00 AM each morning.

North Shore Park, home of the Kids and Kubs. Has become too warm to continue Summer Softball practice sessions as heat and humidity rise into the 90s by 10:00 AM each morning.
The Club had previously reduced the time for Summer Ball sessions to 8:30-10 AM. However, the Club’s membership is age 75-96. These sessions pose a danger due to dehydration and other factors that may cause problems for senior citizens over 75. Therefore, President Joe Hannah has called a recess for July and August, with a return to North Shore Park on September 2, at 8:30 AM, the day after Labor Day.
