FLORIDA — Looking for something fun to do in the Tampa Bay area? There’s something for every interest: food truck festivals, a Stevie Wonder tribute concert, a celebration of Scottish culture, a fundraiser for the special Olympics and more.
International Food Truck Festival
The International Food Truck Festival returns to Tampa Premium Outlets in Lutz with more than 50 food vendors Friday and Saturday.

Art in Bloom
The Margaret Acheson Stuart Society along with the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg hosts Art in Bloom through Saturday. This year’s Art in Bloom’s overall theme is “Old Florida” and consists of three separate events: Flowers After Hours, the Art in Bloom Luncheon, and Conversations with the Designers. These three events coincide with the beautiful floral interpretations by local designers and hobbyists displayed in the Museum of Fine Arts’ galleries that complement the Museum’s collection.

Sarasota Film Festival
The 26th Sarasota Film Festival returns April 5-14 to Sarasota, Florida. One of the world’s largest regional festivals, SFF showcases over 200 films each year, including features, documentaries, shorts, and kid-friendly options. The festival also hosts conversations with film stars, celebrity guests, events, parties and educational programs to support the art of filmmaking.
Jack in the Club
The Special Olympics Florida hosts Jack in the Club, an evening of blackjack, gourmet bites and signature spirits Friday, 6 to 10 p.m., at the East Club Lounge at Raymond James Stadium. A Taste of Tampa presents food from local restaurants throughout the event.
Remembering John Prine
Local artists remember the music of the late John Prine, who lived in Gulfport, at NoiseMakers Inc. in St. Petersburg on Friday starting at 7 p.m.
Dunedin Highland Games & Festival
This celebration of Scottish culture takes place Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Dunedin’s Highlander Park. Activities include the 5K Kilted Trail Run, piping and drumming solo competitions, the Highland Dancing Championship, Scottish Heavy Athletics competitions, live Celtic music, gathering of Scottish clans and societies, historical presentations, and more.
Lao New Year Water Festival
This cultural festival takes place at 4090 58th Ave. N. in St. Petersburg Saturday, 9 a.m. to midnight, when traditional Laotian prayers take place, and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Morean Free Family Day
The Morean Arts Center in St. Petersburg presents its free family day Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Chihuly Collection Garden in partnership with BayFirst. The event offers food, music, crafts and other activities.
Old Seminole Heights Home Tour
The 24th annual Old Seminole Heights Home Tour is a unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty and history of the Seminole Heights neighborhood. The tour, which starts at American Legion Post 111, includes several homes, businesses, and more on Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Food Truck Rally
Big Top Brewers Collective in Lakewood Ranch hosts a food truck rally Saturday, 5 to 9 p.m. Trucks include Untamed Kitchen, Maryland Crab Grab, Currywurst, SRQ Eats and Jeremiah’s.
Overjoyed: A Stevie Wonder Tribute
This Stevie Wonder tribute act takes the stage Saturday, 8 p.m., at Richey Suncoast Theatre in New Port Richey.
