MAIN EVENT: Not Too Late for an Irish-inspired Dinner in St. Pete

Hope there's enough cabbage to go around! It seems that many restaurants are celebrating St. Patrick's Day tonight, with traditional corned beef and cabbage meals, as well as some creative takes, too.

It is not difficult to find restaurants waving the green-white-and-orange flag tonight, in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Here are just few places in downtown St. Petersburg that are serving Irish-inspired food, and not just adding green Easter Egg dye to the beer.

1.) The Queens Head, 2501 Central, has created a Guinness and Potato Soup and Marrow-Stuffed Mushrooms, wrapped in bacon with beet pickled eggs, and Fish and Chips.

2.) , 3451 4th St. N, is serving corned beef and cabbage in a big bowl tonight through Sunday, as a menu special. The restaurant also is selling two-for-one Guinness draft beers.
