2 Vandals Accused Of $96K Damages At Luxury Condo Building Turn Selves In: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Both suspects accused of vandalizing a downtown St. Petersburg luxury condo building earlier this month, causing $96,000 in damages, were arrested after turning themselves into the Pinellas County Jail, authorities said.

Andrew O’Neill, 34, and James Boyle, 38, were charged with criminal mischief greater than $1,000 for vandalizing the Residences at 400 Central Avenue the night of July 11, St. Petersburg police said.

The two men vandalized the luxury condo building around 11:30 p.m. The damage included 14 landscaping lights that were torn up and cost $1,500 to replace, according to O’Neill’s arrest affidavit.

They also damaged three large windows that cost about $25,000 apiece, the affidavit said.

The incident was caught on video.
