Man Charged With DUI After Crashing Into St. Pete Police Car
A 23-year-old man has been arrested for driving under the influence after crashing into a St. Petersburg Police patrol car.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- A 23-year-old man has been arrested for driving under the influence after crashing into a St. Petersburg Police patrol car.
According to police, Officer Rachel Hunter was on her way to a non-emergency call at 12:49 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, when her patrol car was struck by a Kia in the intersection of 4th Street South and Dali Boulevard South.
The driver, Chapin Mills Huffman, was charged with DUI and possession of marijuana.

Hunter was taken to the hospital to be checked out. She is now recuperating at home.
