Man In Critical Condition After Home Invasion: St. Pete Police
The St. Petersburg Police Department is asking for anyone with information about the home invasion to contact authorities.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 61-year-old man is in critical condition after St. Pete police found him physically restrained and injured inside his home in the 1900 block of 21st Avenue North on Friday morning.
At 3 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint concerning music blaring from a stereo at the victim's home, detectives said.
When officers looked inside the window, they saw the victim in distress, investigators said.

It is unknown how long the victim had been in this condition, authorities said.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was last listed in critical condition, police said.

Law enforcement officials believe this was a home invasion, and are asking anyone with information to contact the St. Petersburg Police Department at 727-893-7780 or text SPPD plus your tip to TIP411.
Due to Marsy's Law, the St. Petersburg Police Department will not release the name of the victim.
