Man Wanted For Attempted Robbery Of Two St. Pete Banks: Police
The St. Petersburg Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a suspect wanted for two attempted bank robberies in the area.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A suspect is wanted by the St. Petersburg Police Department for attempting to rob two separate banks in a span of three days in St. Pete.
The first attempted robbery took place on Monday at 11:20 a.m. at Wells Fargo, 3095 54th Avenue, authorities said.
The suspect was unable to get any money from the teller and left, police said.

On Wednesday, after 10 a.m., the suspect went to BB&T Bank, 100 34th Avenue N, and the tellers caught on to his suspicious actions, investigators said.
Detectives pointed out that the suspect has discolored skin on his right earlobe, and that he is possibly driving a red truck.
