Mother, Daughter Hospitalized After Being Struck By Stolen Car
A mother and daughter remain hospitalized after reported car thieves crashed into their PT Cruiser Saturday, Nov. 24.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- A mother and daughter remain hospitalized after reported car thieves crashed into their PT Cruiser Saturday, Nov. 24.
Around 2:40 p.m., police responded to a crash at the intersection of 18th Avenue South and 25th Street South involving a PT Cruiser and a stolen Hyundai Sonata. A passerby flagged down a police officer, saying that one of the men in the Hyundai was pointing a gun.
The Hyundai then fled the scene at a high speed on 18th Avenue South but police caught up with the car, arresting the 20-year-old driver, Carl McKinley, and passengers Lazarius Faulk, 19, Clifford Washington, 19, and Jaquez Rouse, 18.

The passenger of the PT Cruiser, Yolanda Speights, 46, is listed in critical condition. The driver, Mae Speights, 61, is in serious condition.
