Motorcyclist Dies Following Crash On Park Street North
A St. Petersburg man was killed Saturday, Sept. 16, when he lost control of his motorcycle on Park Street North.

ST. PETERSBURG FL – A St. Petersburg man was killed Saturday, Sept. 16, when he lost control of his motorcycle on Park Street North.
At 5:25 p.m., a 2016 Dodge Ram box truck driven by Andriy Dorosh, 28, of St. Peterburg was heading south on Park Street North in the median lane.
At the same time, a 2018 Yamaha motorcycle, driven by Michael Aaron Baker, 30, of St. Petersburg was heading north on Park Street North at a high speed. According to St. Petersburg Police, Baker leaned his motorcycle into the right hand turn and lost control. He slid into the southbound lanes, striking the front of the box truck in the 400 block of Park Street North.

Baker, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Bayfront Health St Pete and died shortly after his arrival.
