Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries Following 38th Avenue Crash
A motorcyclist involved in a crash Dec. 30 in St. Petersburg has died as a result of his injuries.

St. PETERSBURG, FL — A motorcyclist involved in a crash Dec. 30 in St. Petersburg has died as a result of his injuries.
At 11:49 p.m., a 2015 Ford Mustang driven by Gabriel Eguiguren, 19, was southbound on 40th Street North and stopped at the stop sign at 38th Avenue North.
A 2016 Honda 1000RR motorcycle, driven by Michael Burroughs, 23, was headed west on 38th Avenue North at a high rate of speed. Eguiguren attempted to cross 38th Avenue North and was struck in the left rear by the motorcycle.

Burroughs and his passenger, Mackenzie Leigey, 19, were thrown from the motorcycle. They were transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with serious injuries.
