Motorcyclist Killed On Howard Frankland Sunday Identified

The Florida Highway Patrol has identified ​the motorcyclist killed Sunday, Nov. 18, on the Howard Frankland Bridge.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the motorcyclist killed Sunday, Nov. 18, on the Howard Frankland Bridge.

Troopers say Gregory Allen Kubitz, 31, of Palmetto was traveling south on the bridge near the center span hump at a high rate of speed when he collided with a Dodge 2500 pickup truck pulling a utility trailer loaded with three ATVs at 2:45 a.m.

Kubitz was taken to Bayfront Medical Center where he later died.

The driver of the pickup truck, Joshua Perry Warner, 21, of St. Petersburg was not injured.
