Neal Communities Hosts Grand Opening for Woodland Trace Community
Neal Communities, southwest Florida's most experienced builder, is hosting a grand opening for Woodland Trace on Saturday, Jan. 31.
Neal Communities (www.nealcommunities.com), southwest Florida’s most experienced builder, is hosting a grand opening for Woodland Trace, a gated community surrounded by Florida’s natural beauty with only 45 exclusive homesites, on Saturday, Jan. 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In advance of the grand opening, more than 150 people have already signed up for the community’s VIP information list. Located at 6315 Laurel Wood Run in Sarasota at the southwest corner of Saunders Road and Tuttle Avenue, the new neighborhood preserves more than 50 percent of the community as open space, comprised of lakes, wetlands and natural landscape.
“This location offers discerning homebuyers a unique opportunity to enjoy Florida’s natural landscape,” said Michael Storey, president of the Lakewood Ranch-based new home building company. “Woodland Trace is in close proximity to an abundance of community amenities like shopping, dining and is just minutes away from world-famous beaches.”

Nestled among 29 acres of wooded natural landscape, environmental planners took this new community a step further by extending the existing wetland habitat and supplementing the property with additional low-laying plants and shallow water for a larger wetland area surrounding one of the lakes.
The intimate, gated community features three large wetland preserves, totaling eight acres, and provides ample open space and lovely views for a select group of homebuyers. One preserve area is placed along the neighborhood’s north entry drive, creating a warm welcoming entrance and setting the tone for the neighborhood.
