New Video Connected To Local Motel Hold-Up Released By Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Additional surveillance video related to an armed robbery at a local motel was released today by the St. Petersburg Police Department in hopes that the public can aid with identification of the male suspect.
A clerk at Extended Stay America on Ulmerton Road was robbed at gunpoint at about 8 p.m. July 23 by a man who forced her to fill a shopping bag with cash from the register and then lay face-down on the floor before he exited, according to police.
Detectives today released additional video that purportedly shows the suspect at a nearby business with an unidentified woman.

"We are hoping this additional video will help us identify the woman and lead us to him." the department said.
