North Shore Senior Softball Standings Tighten After Five Games

A couple of identical 16-7 scores concluded the third week of the Three-Quarter Century Softball Club intraclub competition. They leveled standings as the fast start by the “Kubs” was negated by two defeats during the week’s play.

Captain Joe Hannah’s "Kids" exploded offensively, scoring 28 runs and collecting 47 hits in capturing two games during the week. The victories pull the “Kids” into a first-place tie, with the “Kubs” winless during the week.

The "Kats" and "Kits", captained by Don “Cubbie Kutchinski and Gordon “Doc” Norton, split the two games on their schedule and now trail the intraclub standings leaders by one game.
