"Kits" pitching surrendered eight walks during the game to produce seven runs breaking open a 10-9 game in the last two innings to win the game.

"Cubbie" Kutchinski and Doug Righter added three hits each for the winning "Kats." Larry Webster went three for three, leading "Kubs. "Pitcher Pete Calabrese(Kats) and Walt Ewald (Kubs) locked up in a pitcher's duel. Calabrese and Ewald faced 35 batters during the seven-inning affair.
