Pedestrian From Daytona Beach Dies After Being Struck Twice
A 30-year-old Daytona Beach man was killed Thursday, July 26 while crossing the eastbound lanes of Gandy Boulevard in St. Petersburg.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- A 30-year-old Daytona Beach man was killed Thursday, July 26 while crossing the eastbound lanes of Gandy Boulevard in St. Petersburg.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Darwin David Carrillo was attempting to cross Gandy near Poplar Street Northeast at 6:26 a.m. when he was struck by a 2013 Honda Accord driven by Richard Hermes, 51, of St. Petersburg who was traveling in the eastbound outside lane.
Carrillo was then thrown into the path of a 2013 Nissan Altima driven by Randi Zedeck, 56, of St. Petersburg.
