Pedestrian Dead Following 70th Avenue Accident
A pedestrian is dead following an accident in the 4600 block of 70th Avenue on Monday, Jan. 22.
PINELLAS PARK, FL – A pedestrian is dead following an accident in the 4600 block of 70th Avenue on Monday, Jan. 22.
According to Pinellas Park Police, Jamaris Dorsette, 26 of Pinellas Park was walking across 70th Avenue around 7:45 p.m. when a 2007 Nissan Altima driven by Jevon N. Williams, 28, of St. Petersburg struck him.
Dorsette was transported to Tampa General Hospital where he later died from his injuries. Williams remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.

Details of the crash are still under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time
