Pedestrian Killed On 34th Street South Identified

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – St. Petersburg Police have identified the pedestrian killed in a Sept. 29 crash at 46th Avenue South and 34th Street South as Vicki Perry, 62.

The accident occurred at 8:41 p.m. when a 2006 Buick Lacrosse, driven by Jonte Johnson-Payne, 30, was northbound on 34th Street South, approaching the intersection 46th Avenue South.

Perry was crossing west to east on 34th Street South when the Lacrosse struck her, throwing her to the road. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
