62-Year-Old Woman Killed In St. Petersburg Accident
A 62-year-old woman has died following a fatal pedestrian accident on 34 Street South at 46 Avenue South.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- A 62-year-old woman has died following a fatal pedestrian accident on 34 Street South at 46 Avenue South.
According to St. Petersburg Police, at 8:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, a 2006 Buick Lacrosse driven by Jonte Johnson-Payne, 30, was heading north on 34th Street South, approaching the intersection 46th Avenue South. A 62-year-0ld woman was crossing 34th Street from west to east when she was struck by Johnson-Payne. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
