Sanding Ovations
This sand sculpture event on Treasure Island Beach kicked off Thursday and continues through Sunday, as well as Nov. 25 and 26.

Tarpon Springs Seafood Festival
The 35th annual Tarpon Springs Seafood Festival will take place along Spring Bayou at Craig Park, 5 Beekman Lane, Nov. 17-19. From noon to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, visitors can choose from a wide choice of seafood dishes as well as non-seafood dishes.

Masquerade Art Exhibit Gala
Exquisite Corpse Games hosts a Masquerade Art Exhibit Gala Friday, 7 p.m., at Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront. The games have’t been played since 2019 and this event serves to refresh it. It will feature three years of art - from 2017 to 2019 on display - as well as live music.
Tampa Bay Pet Expo
The Tampa Bay Pet Expo takes place Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Florida State Fairgrounds. The event features pet vaccinations, educational opportunities, a pet costume contest, vendors and adoptions.
Florida CraftArt Festival
A yearly autumn destination for art, the Florida CraftArt Festival, favored by enthusiasts, collectors and holiday shoppers alike, returns to downtown St. Petersburg for its 26th year. It takes place Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the crossroads of Central Avenue and Fifth Street.
Dunedin Celtic Music Festival
Presented by the Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation, this Celtic music festival takes place Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Highlander Park.
“Dali & the Impressionists: Monet, Renoir, Degas & More”
A new exhibit, “Dalí & the Impressionists: Monet, Renoir, Degas & More,” opens Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. Petersburg’s Dali Museum. The exhibit explores Salvador Dalí’s most important early influencers. To demonstrate the range and depth of Dalí’s engagement with the Impressionist movement, this exhibition presents 18 of Dalí’s early paintings in conjunction with a diverse selection of 22 French Impressionist paintings by 18 artists from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Sarasota Fine Art Show
The Sarasota Fine Art Show runs Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Phillippi Estate Park. It features 75 juried artists.
Picnic Land
More than 800 picnic blankets will be placed in St. Petersburg’s Flora Wylie Park on Saturday, 3 to 6 p.m., in an effort to create the World’s Largest Picnic Blanket.
Cirque Dreams Holidaze
The Cirque Dreams Holidaze show takes the stage Saturday, 4 p.m., at Lakeland’s RP Funding Center.
Brews & Blue Beer & Music Festival
Tampa’s Armature Works hosts The Heights District second annual Brews & Blues Beer & Music Festival Saturday, 5 to 8 p.m. The event features local and national breweries — with an option for unlimited tastings — and a blues lineup.
The Creole Collab Annual Cajun Cook-Off
This free annual cook-off takes place Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at New Port Richey’s Moon Lake Park. Contests include Best Gumbo, Best Po Boy and Chef’s Specialty Dish.
