Police Investigate Fatal Shooting At Quick Stop In St. Pete
Detectives are searching for suspects who shot two men standing in a crowd outside a store. One of the victims died, St. Pete police said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a shooting that took the life of a 34-year-old man on Sunday night outside Quick Stop Beer and Wine.
A crowd of people were socializing outside the store when two men were shot before 7:45 p.m., authorities said.
The two victims were taken to a local hospital, investigators said.

One of the victims, Dameion Cookinson, died of his injuries at the hospital, police said.
The second victim was last reported in stable condition, deputies said.
