Man Killed In St. Petersburg While Visiting Friends: Police
A shooting took the life of a 22-year-old man near downtown St. Pete, and police are asking for the public's help in the investigation.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL —A shooting took the life of a 22-year-old man near downtown St. Petersburg around 10 p.m. on May 27, a St. Petersburg Police Department news release reported.
The victim, Owen Melin was visiting friends at 458 4th Ave. S when a home invasion happened, and he was fatally shot. Police believe that this was not a random act.
