Police Say 19-Year-Old St. Pete Teen Posted Threatening Video

St. Petersburg Police detained 19-year-old Jacer Brian-Jevon Brown after he posted a threatening video of himself on Facebook Live.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- St. Petersburg Police detained 19-year-old Jacer Brian-Jevon Brown after he appeared on Facebook Live on Monday, Sept.17, and posted video of himself damaging property at his home.

During the livestream video, Brown threatened to kill several people, including his mother and an individual at school.

After officers tried to locate him, he turned himself in at police headquarters at the urging of family members on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

He was detained under the Baker Act and faces charges of criminal mischief and second-degree felonies under Florida Statute 836.10 regarding posting threatening messages on social media.
