Police Search For Masked Gunman Who Robbed St. Pete Bank

St. Pete police are searching for a suspect who got away with cash after he robbed a downtown St. Pete bank.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL —A masked gunman went inside the American Momentum Bank on Tuesday afternoon, and demanded money from employees as he showed his gun, authorities said in a news release.

St. Petersburg police are searching for the suspect who got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie. No one at the bank, at 5858 Central Ave., was injured.

Authorities do not believe he is connected to other bank robberies in the area.
