ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Florida Highway Patrol investigators on Monday released images of a motorcycle similar to one they believe struck a 6-year-old St. Petersburg girl. The driver fled the scene of the May 13 accident on Gandy Boulevard.

Troopers hope someone recognizes the motorcycle involved in the crash about 10:30 p.m. on Gandy Boulevard near Peridot Palms Apartment Complex.

A black motorcycle, possibly a Kawasaki, drove westbound on Gandy when the driver struck the little girl as she walked south from the apartment complex.
