Rained Out Monday, High School Baseball Tournaments Resume Today

High school baseball tournaments featuring local teams received a curve ball Monday. Many games are rescheduled for today.

Rain is playing havoc with the spring break high school baseball tournaments, specifically Northeast High School's baseball tournament.

There was only one game played Monday, which was the Vikings opening game. But that was called for rain in the fifth inning, with pitcher Jerrod Flanagan throwing a no-hitter. That game will resume at noon today.

Shorecrest Prep was also rained out at Seminole's Steve Georgiadis Memorial tournament. Weather permitting; the Chargers play Brooks-DeBartalo at 4 p.m.
