Organizers said the pier will turn into a natural amphitheater, where the competition will feature 12 women and 12 men diving from platforms built above the pier. Women will dive from heights of up to 70 feet, while men dive from 90 feet. Athletes will perform complex dives judged on execution, synchronization and artistic impression.
Competitors include Kaylea Arnett, Lisa Faulkner and James Lichtenstein. Reigning champions Rhiannan Iffland and Gary Hunt are also expected to headline the competition as they defend their titles.

“Winning in Boston last season was a huge moment — not just for me, but for the sport in the U.S.," said Lichtenstein, who made history at the 2025 World Series finale when he became the first American male diver ever to win on U.S. soil.
"To now come into St. Pete as the only U.S. stop this year, it feels like we’re building something bigger, and I’m excited for fans to experience it again," he continued.
For those who can't attend, the event will be broadcast on Red Bull TV starting at 1 p.m. ET on June 5. Additional details on athletes and event updates are available through Red Bull Cliff Diving.
