Charcuterie Board Concept Coming to St. Pete in Early 2023
Graze Craze, a charcuterie board concept, is coming to 2220 Central Ave. in St. Pete by early 2023, according to What Now Tampa.
The brand has locations across the country with additional spots planned.
Local franchise owner Alex Gonzalez said the Central Avenue eatery will be the first in the area and she’ll use it as research before expanding locally.
“I figured we’d just wait to see what the buying trends are, and maybe some suggestions — where we see we’re getting a lot more deliveries — so it’ll really just depend on consumption, and the needs of our customers,” Gonzalez said.
Bacon & BBQ Festival Returns to St. Pete
The St. Pete Bacon & BBQ Festival returns Jan. 14-15 at Vinoy Park.
In addition to bacon and barbecue dishes — brisket, bacon cheeseburgers, fall-off-the-bone ribs — craft beer will also be served. A number of musical acts, including Kash’d Out, Resinated, Seranation and Neverless, will take the stage over the weekend, as well.
Tickets are $39 a person through Thursday and $45 after that.
Perry’s Porch to Open at St. Pete Pier
A new restaurant is coming to the St. Pete Pier. Perry’s Porch, a café concept by Seed & Feed Hospitality Group, will open next year in the space next to the St. Petersburg Museum of History, according to St. Pete Rising.
The space was previously home to Hops and Props craft beer bar.
According to the Seed & Feed website, the group also owns Trophy Fish, Mandarin Hide and Mandarin Heights.
Glass Noodle to Open in Former Doormét Space
A new international noodle house will move into the space formerly occupied by Doormét in Central Avenue’s 600 block. The gourmet food delivery restaurant closed its doors in November.
No opening date for the restaurant, The Glass Noodle, is set just yet, but it could open by the end of the year, according to St. Pete Rising.
The new eatery is the latest concept from the owners of Mangosteen just across the street and Green Pagoda on 4th Street North.
Owner Sean Thongsiri said the menu will include noodle dishes from “almost every country in Asia. You name it — Korea, Singapore, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Taiwan.”
